Scout reads CONFIG.TXT on its memory card when it starts. Open yours here, change it, and save it back.

No file opened. The settings below start from the defaults.

How to use it

  1. Hold Scout's button while you plug it into a computer, iPhone or iPad. The memory card shows up as a drive. A card reader works too.
  2. Open SCOUT/CONFIG.TXT from the card. This step is optional.
  3. Change the settings below and download the file.
  4. Save it on the card as SCOUT/CONFIG.TXT, replacing the old one, and press Scout's button. Scout restarts with the new settings.

Scout keeps these whatever card is in. It takes them from the file when it starts and removes them, so an opened file only has the ones Scout hasn't taken yet.
